Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute today announced its expansion in South Reno with a new clinic at 5419 Reno Corporate Drive. The office will open April 3 in the RPC Medical Campus and will be accepting new and existing patients for medical and cosmetic dermatology services.
The clinic, located in a specially designed medical complex in the Reno Corporate Business Center Park at the base of Huffaker Park, is uniquely positioned to serve the dermatology needs of the surrounding area. With ample parking and convenient access to U.S. 395 and the South Reno corridor, the medical park is ideal for Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute’s ongoing expansion.

At the new South Reno location, patients will be treated by board-certified dermatologists, Anthony E. Albregts and Irene K. Mannering, as well as certified physician assistant Tamara Van Dyke, DMSc, PA-C, and nurse practitioner Adria Thomas, APRN. Along with a dedicated team of medical support staff, these medical providers specialize in treating skin cancer and all other medical dermatology conditions.
Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute supports a significant need for preventive skin checks and evidence-based dermatological care. Dr. Albregts is a member of the Washoe County Medical Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Board of Dermatology and has been practicing dermatology in Reno for almost 30 years.
Dr. Mannering earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri Columbia and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California Irvine. Prior to moving to Reno, she practiced dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
Van Dyke earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree from University of Lynchburg in Virginia and holds four associate degrees from Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada. Her undergraduate degree in health science was obtained from the University of Nevada, Reno. While working as a pharmacy technician, Tammy continued her education at the Western University of Health Science in Pomona, California, where she completed a master’s of science in physician assistant studies.
Thomas is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received a master’s degree in nursing from Maryville University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health and Sciences University. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, she specializes in cosmetic injectables like BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, Dysport®, and RHA®.
